It is not often that you come across a truck that has spent its entire life in the one district – but our International AB-Series purchased at a local clearing sale, has done exactly that.

My father, Ned Ryan, had spent his life driving, firstly for Carter Transport carrying general freight and wool between Inverell and Brisbane, and then for Fairburns Transport out of Urdenville, NSW, moving general freight and sawn timber. As a ‘young fella’ in Woodenbong, I would sit and watch the log, timber, and cattle trucks rumble past.
