Cattle Drive

In the late l950s, local carriers, Ted Day from Oaklands, and Ray Weygood from Yarrawonga, were approached with a job offer to move cattle, by Norm Bott of Quatt Quatta Station in Corowa, NSW. Norm had purchased the cattle from Nockatunga Station (1,856 sq miles in size) in the Thargaminda area, as there was a bad drought in that part of Queensland.
