Coopers 1919 Saurer A Great Combination

Coopers Brewery of Adelaide was founded in 1862 when Thomas Cooper brewed his first recorded beer. Today, it is still very much a family-owned business, brewing and distributing world renowned ales and stout throughout Australia and beyond.

Not long after this first batch, he started the delivery of his brews by horse and cart and, with the exception of a few years from the late 1940s through the  1950s when private contractors were used, Coopers has always distributed its own products in Adelaide with its own fleet of trucks. When the delivery fleet was re-established in 1962, TK model Bedfords were used.
