The article in issue #39 on Iran is very interesting, and brings to mind some other countries where old trucks are still earning their living. In April last year, I was travelling in Uruguay and saw a lot of Bedfords, BMCs, Leylands, Mercedes, and Scania-Vabis on the roads. I clocked up around 3,000kms while I was there. *F. Michel
