My truck is a 1928 Manchester A9, built by the 1919 joint venture between Willys Overland of the USA and Crossley Motors of the UK, to assemble Willys Overland vehicles for the British market, at Heaton Chapel, Stockport, Manchester. They were originally sold under the badge of Overland but, in 1928, the trucks were modified and re-named Manchester. About 7,000 Manchester trucks were produced between 1919 and 1932, but very few of those commercial vehicles are still in existence today.
