I was looking at the vintage military vehicles at a large automotive show in Perth earlier this year, when I noticed a 1954 Humber troop carrier in the display of trucks belonging to members of the Military section of the Veteran Car Club of Western Australia. 

The truck belonged to Graham Reed, who also owned the 1952 Ferret armoured car that was parked next to it. He explained that his interest in the two vehicles dated back to the period 1962-5, when he was in the 10th Light Horse Regiment.
