The 1977 White Road Commander

As a little fellow of about 8-years-old, Terry Whelan would go up the bush on the Timbarra Road, out the back of Buchan with his father Don Whelan when he worked with the local Shire. Don worked on repairing the logging road for about ten years and Terry accompanied him as often as he possibly could. At the time Don drove an AB-164 International with a 5 cubic yard tipping body. 

Over those ten or so years, Terry would eagerly watch out for the log truck
