Grandad’s old Ford D Series still earns its keep on the Farm

My Grandad’s Ford D750 was purchased new, from Faulkner’s Ford in Toowoomba on the 31st of October, 1971. The truck was purchased to transport cattle and pigs for a small family business called A. and F. G. Scott, livestock transport in the Grantham Scrub, area of Qld. He bought the truck for $7,000. He also carted pigs to Hutton’s in Oxley and pigs to Queensland Bacon in Murarrie, Brisbane.
