Due to the Saurer being an uncommon truck, I was surprised to discover the Saurer A whose restoration was recounted in the article in issue #44. As reported, the company ceased to produce trucks many years ago but the trademark has gathered a lot of owners of the old wagons in Europe who like to display their trucks. In Switzerland there are three clubs so that gives the trucks three outings per year. There is one in Germany where about 200 models turn up. There is also one in France and the last one I know of in Italy but these two are on a smaller scale.
