VTCM, that included the Grey Ghosts brought back many memories for me. I was in my 20s and I clearly remember these fascinating Kenworths regularly coming into CMV’s Richmond (SA) workshops with a broken torsion bar. The drivers were so used to it that they would complete the journey with a fierce lean to one side or the other and I don’t think they even missed their ETAs.
