1 min read

Richard Ackling, is the proud new owner of a this 1946 Chevrolet truck, weighing two and a half tons, which he picked up from Tamworth, NSW at auction. The old chevy pickup truck was bought as is, with the only addition being two new tyres. Interestingly, the truck had been restored approximately two decades ago and has been kept in good condition ever since. Richard bought the truck one week, had it inspected the following week, and then showcased it in a show the week after. The old chevy pickup truck has an impressive 82,000 genuine miles on the clock and, to the best of Richard’s knowledge, it was initially used as a ‘sleeper carters’ truck in Tenterfield. Richard intends to maintain the truck in its present condition and simply take pleasure in driving it. Richard was impressed with performance of the Chev on the 150km drive from Uralla to Wauchope. Since acquiring the truck, Richard has covered approximately 500 kilometers without encountering any issues, leaving him very happy with his purchase. The old chevy pickup truck's heater functions exceptionally well – simply rolling up the window heats the entire cabin. Every feature of the truck is in working order. Richard was the lucky winner of the truck at an auction and plans to cherish and enjoy the vehicle for many years to come. #chevrolet #chevy #utes #chevytrucks #oldchevypickup  @Chevrolet   @ChevroletCanada  Don't forget to click like 👍 and subscribe to our channel to keep up with our latest content! 🚚💨
