The LEGENDARY 1988 INTERNATIONAL Transtar 4670
1 min read

Peter Little has a passion for toys, particularly toy trucks and bigger toy trucks. He has always had a fondness for International trucks made in Australia and wanted to own the biggest one available. He found the largest one he could, located on a property in Pallamallawa. near Moree. The previous owner had invested money into the truck but never got to use it. The truck, a 1988 International 4670 Transtar, runs on a Cummins 444, with an 18-speed Roadranger. It has a Kenworth 8 bag on the rear end, which makes it very comfortable to drive. Peter bought the truck just before a mouse plague, which meant a lot of cleaning was needed to remove the smell, mud, dust, and dirt. He changed all the tyres, and although the front had chrome rims, they were completely covered in red dirt. Peter cut the back of the cab out and installed a 42 inch Sleekline sleeper box, which he considers the best decision he ever made. The truck came with a bull bar that was completely bent, but Peter's son straightened it and added many parts to the truck, including lights. It is the first truck Peter has ever owned that has a fully functioning wireless, UHF, speedo, jake brakes, wipers, and lights. It has two power steering boxes, and due to the chassis length and the airbag underneath, it handles beautifully on the road. #internationaltrucks #bigrig #oldtruck #internationalharvester #bigrigs
